I was wondering if you have any
plans to make PDF flashcards with the vocab we need to learn on them. I really like
to make my own flashcards, but it takes a lot of time because I can't input Japanese text
into Word97. Well, just a suggestion, as I really like the other PDF downloads you have made up.

PDF flash cards are a great idea, except that
since flash cards are 2 sided it would be difficult on making the cards line up on both
sides when printing.
We do have cards that we use in the live classes. We will be offering them for
purchase in the TTI Online store when it
opens. Also we do have plans for an online version of the flash cards that will
change when you hold the mouse over them. Should be fun.

Why is "This is a
pillow" translated as "Makura desu", while "This is a computer"
is translated as "Kore wa konpyuutaa desu" That's really confusing.

In Lesson 1 you learn that depending on the
context of the sentence DESU can
mean: it is, this is, they are, I am, your are, he is, she is, and we are
etc.
Then is Lesson 2 you learn that KORE means THIS. The important thing to
remember is that KONPYUUTAA DESU can mean: it is a computer, this is a
computer, that is a computer depending on the context of the sentence. But
KORE WA KONPYUUTAA DESU only mean THIS is a computer.
For example if I ask you:
Kore wa nan desu ka (what is this?)
You could simply answer:
Konpyuutaa desu. (this is a computer)
Even though KORE is not in the sentence above, the word THIS is assumed
because of the context. DESU cover many meanings.
If you are holding an item in your hand and ask somebody NAN DESU KA. The
English translation of your question should be WHAT IS THIS?
because WHAT IS IT? would sound strange. The word THIS is assumed because
of the context of the question.
Remember that DESU to the Japanese is always the same thing and doesn't
change. It is the English representation of DESU that changes depending on
the situation.

What order should I be going in?
First I did, the pronunciation. Then I did counting. Then from counting
it jumped to lesson 1 and not vocabulary. It seemed wrong so I went back and learned
the first vocab page. Just for the future, what order should I go.

You do not need to memorize all of the
vocabulary at once. On the top of each lesson it says what words you need to know
for that lesson in the About This Lesson section. And there is a link to the place
where those words are.
