For listening practice, I've been running some iTunes podcasts in the background while I work at the computer.

I personally like these podcasts because of the cumulative effect of vocabulary recognition & conversational rhythm. It's also helpful to hear a variety of voices & speaking styles.

Even if you're a beginner, these are great resources.

Thanks for this, I was actually hoping to find something on my own and just haven't had the motivation to look like... at all. And here I walk right into a helpful post! I don't use iTunes, but Effortless Japanese has its own website where it looks like you can get everything, so... awesome.
