During the world cup when they were announcing the Japanese players, Nakashima etc, and then SANTOS, Alessandro. What a great Japanese name ;)

Santos is a damn good footballer, id love to know how good his japanese is seen as though he is brazilian and plays for japan.
My weekly must learn japanese while aimlessly browsing the forums: meh it all helps.

I saw the Japan v.s. Brazil World Cup match (June 22, 2006) with a group of 8 Japanese people in some coffee shop. Japan owned Brazil for almost all of the original time of the first half.

I remember how crazy my Japanese friends went when Tamada scored Japan's only goal. Of course, their happiness did not last long when Ronaldo scored an equalizer 10 or so minutes later... it was a great match and a valuable experience for me being with Japanese spectators.

Japan's GK Kawaguchi was really great in that match. He was the best player in that match, IMO.

I am wondering? did Brazil just get interenet? Cuz now I see a lot of Brazillians, where I didn't before... It's so weird.

I heard Valentine's Day is in the summer in Brazil. Any truth to this?

I remember people sending me invites to Orkut and later Hi5 years ago, but I declined them both. For some reason I don't really have a lot of interest of doing that type of thing in English....but doing it in a Japanese environment is such a blast....mixi=すごい楽しいサイトですね!
