Trains on New Year's Eve...?

Quick question, do the trains in the Kanto/Tokyo region run all night on New Year's Eve?

I think it might. I have read someone's blog about going to Kamakura for the New year, and she took the train in. She was there about 10 PM and returned to Zushi around 2 AM.

I went to Kamakura on the 2nd last year, VERY CRAZY!
