) and was thinking about just backpacking japan. Im not really sure how to go about doing this, so i figure I would ask during the winter months to get plenty of advise for this coming summer. So, my questions are 1.does anyone have specific routes they went? 2. is there any unique advice you want to share? 3.what were your plans that had you had?(ie goals like city, country, wilderness). I know ill come up with more questions, but for now thats all i can think of. If you have any info at all, it would be greatly appreciated. My personal goal of this trip is to take a backpack, tent, etc and walk around japan for a couple weeks, But Im not sure where I could pitch a tent.
