Jeez, $40 to $60? You must be eating at better places than I am. It's usually around $20 where I'm at. The nicest place we have is probably closer to $30, and of course drinks add to that really quick (I generally don't drink much at dinner), but... damn.

Not really, it is just that Japanese restaurants are considered a 'rarity' over here and, thus, are generally overpriced. There are cheaper ones but they are not as good. And... since I consider eating at Japanese restaurant, which I do a handful times a year, a treat, I spare no expenses

The only awesome and cheap restaurant I found was Bentoya in Dubai, but that's because it was run by a Japanese guy and was full of Japanese people (and manga!)

No, but I go visit there like once or twice a year to attend Metal gigs
