To be due verb

What's the verb, or adjective as the case may be, for something being due like a library book or a rented movie.

But as far as I can see they are just learning sentences without really understanding them (the composition and why it is so), so I think this is hardly has much benefit (other then providing a fun experience and maybe encouraging to take it up seriously later on). That's exactly how a kid learns a...

They are both a little squirrely, which I think makes the similarity stronger. The voices aren't the same, but the mannerisms are.

How about two 15 minutes a month and regular work on the lessons and the other site features? I think that would be even more beneficial.

どうれ?

I've got a bunch of books for my daughter for x-mas. They are え本 for various ages and the younger books use the word どうれ for どれ. Is that just a kid talk thing? For example: いぬはどうれ?

Is using どうも instead of ありがとう considered rude in a business? As in thanking the person behind the counter?

kids song translation help please

I got a nice kids Cd for my daughter to listen to, and I'm working on translating it so that I understand the songs as we sing them. I'm hung up a little on this line in a song about colors: いちばんさきに なくなるよ あかいクレヨン。 I think my biggest problem is with the いちばんさきに. The rest of it seems pretty clear depe...

I see it the other way. If they don't match, it means the dub is badly done because it doesn't capture the dialogue well enough to be used in the subs.

questions about japanese DVDs

I've noticed a couple things I wanted to ask about many of the japanese DVDs I've picked up lately. This goes for both US DVDs with japanese subtitles and Japanese versions of american films. 1) There is often more then one japanese subtitle track. What's the difference? I noticed this recently on K...
