![]() member since 2021 Jul 20 Questions: 4 Comments: 2 | Hello, I'm thoroughly enjoying what I am learning in JFZ but I'm really struggling in one particular area of my studies. I can read passages such as the reading comprehension in this lesson. I can translate them fine and understand 95-100% no bother. Where I struggle badly is in writing my answers, specifically with sentence structure. When I see your answers they make perfect sense and it feels like it's nothing I don't 'know'. I just struggle to think and build the answer correctly (if that even makes sense). I have a bunch of words in my head I need to include but struggle to thread them together correctly. I know it's early days but I don't feel I do well here. I love doing the question and answer exercises but can't think of a way to reinforce this and practice writing sentences I know are grammatically correct because once I have seen the answer that's it. Ideally I'd like to do new reading comprehensions every day. Do you have any advice or ideas for practicing sentence building like the exercises in the book? Do you know of any guides to sentence building that cover what I know to date (JFZ1) that don't add other layers of untaught complexity? I feel like this part of my learning is going really badly tbh and I can't think of a way to improve that is as supported as the reading comprehensions in the book. Thank you | |||||
