Ive been trying to practice the above and Ive written out a few of my own basic questions in english and have tried to translate and answer them in Japanese.
Can someone tell me if i have them correct please? im trying to wrap my head around them properly.
1) What is that? ---- Sore wa nan desu ka
This is a window --- Kore wa maddo desu
2) What is that over there? --- Acchi wa nan desu ka
They are rabbits --- Acchi wa usagi desu
3) Which one is your cat? --- Neko wa docchi desu ka
This is my cat --- Kore wa neko desu
4) What are those? --- Sore wa nan desu ka
They are magazines --- Kore wa zasshi desu
I know they are proper basic sentances, and the response shouldnt need the kore/sore/are words as the topic has been established but i just want to make sure i have them the proper way round.

Obviously the Acchi, Docchi ones are based on only two of said items. I’m assuming that’s the case there.
The only correction I would make is:
Which one is your cat?— Anata no neko was docchi desu ka?
Other than that, looks good to me. Then again, I’m a student here, like you. Take my reply with a grain of salt.

Sorry about the “was” in my reply. It should be “wa”. Autocorrect....grrr!!
