Shadowing and the 4/3/2 method Hi! I find shadowing really useful - listening to different audio material and saying each sound I hear aloud a couple second after the speaker. This increases my fluidity, whether or not I understand what the speaker is saying. Also the 4/3/2 method is great: you speak aloud for 4 minutes about a topic, then speak aloud about the same topic for 3 minutes, then for 2 minutes. Each time you revise what you've said in order to make your content more concise. I do all of this alone without the support of a tutor, but you can do the 4/3/2 method with a tutor.
