In the Short Dialogue, Mr Hashimoto says
Tomorrow, I'm off.
As he is presumably going to be off work for several days (he's not coming back until next Tuesday) could he have said
From tomorrow, I'm off, to show that he's having more than one day off?
PS - I'm really going to miss the online courses, as they're really helpful for pronunciation, but having bought all the books, I can't afford the subscription. Thank goodness for George's Youtube videos! And Yay! to me for finishing the first book :)
(ASHITA KARA YASUMI DESU) = I am off (starting) from tomorrow.
You are right. That means you have more than one day off :) You can add words to give more information as below.
(ASHITA KARA RAISHUU NO KAYOUBI MADE YASUMI DESU) = I am off from tomorrow until next Tuesday. (ASHITA KARA ISSHUU-KAN YASUMI DESU) = I am off for a week from tomorrow.
