But in the translation it shows the word for husband as 旦那. Since the speaker is referring to her own husband would this still be correct or would it be better to use ご主人?

dannasan one's own husband/another's husband shujin one's own husband goshujin another's husband だんなさん(DANNA SAN) means "one's own husband" and "another's husband". You can use them both. In my opinion, it sounds more formal to use しゅじん (SHUJIN) when referring to your own husband. Keep up the good work! Kanako @ YesJapan Teacher | ||
