![]() member since 2002 Feb 01 Questions: 4 Comments: 3 | Question on the usage of yoi. In course 1 lessons 7 yoi translates as okay. Is this used only as word for a state of wellness or can it be used in other situations that we use okay for in english? One example would be acknoledgement. Such as "Do such and such" "Okay" It seems from the lesson that it is a word connotating the state of something but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks

Well yes it can be used other places. But not as YOI. Use II instead. YOI is okay but normally II is how it is said. But normally when you want to say after being told to do something you should say WAKATTA which means "I understand" but is used just like OKAY.
