だけ (DAKE) and のみ (NOMI) both mean "only". People normally use DAKE in daily conversation. They hardly use NOMI because it sounds too formal. NOMI is often used in books, in formal situations and you can also hear it on the news. Ganbatte kudasai! Kanako @ YesJapan Teacher | ||
