The rules are: IRU/ERU verbs ---> dictionary form - る ましょう たべる ---> たべましょう (TABERU ---> TABEMASHOU) おしえる---> おしえましょう (OSHIERU ---> OSHIEMASHOU) All the other verbs ---> いform MASHOU いく ---> いきましょう (IKU ---> IKIMASHOU) する---> しましょう (SURU ---> SHIMASHOU) よむ ---> よみましょう (YOMU ---> YOMIMASHOU) Or, if you are more comfortable with the MASU form of the verbs, use this rule: All verbs ---> pre-MASU form (= verb root = MASU form of the verb - MASU) ましょう MASHOU (= Let's...) is covered in Course 2 Lesson 6 Grammar.
