Why I recommend this video: Japanese animal sounds are fun trivia to know. This would be a good children's episode. Keiko seemed to really enjoy the topic as well. A simple show but very nicely done.
Why I recommend this video: There's some pretty novel cards in this episode that most gaijin wouldn't be expected to know. Impress your Japanese friends with these!
Why I recommend this video: This episode is just a slick production all the way around. Great flow of dialogue and interaction between the co-hosts as well as tasteful video editting effects make this one a really enjoyable show to watch...and re-watch. Yuki is cool with her freaky voice contribution in the end quiz as well. Further nice touch with the kids doing the air Guitar Vader. A really well done show with a nice Hallowe'en aesthetic.
Why I recommend this video: I like the episodes that have Jessie in them. She always brings such a pleasant presence to the shows. Hilarious when she crashes in this one. So unexpected!
The Silent Night thing at the start was nicely done as well.
Why I recommend this video: This show has some interesting observations about selected kanji. It's this sort of abstract logic that so intrigues me about kanji and fuels a lot of my motivation to learn it. Also, the parody thing at the end is especially funny if you like to read the YJ forums.
Why I recommend this video: This one is absolutely hilarious! Even if you are the type where dudes with Asian girl fetishes get on your nerves, I bet you can't get through it without laughing!
Why I recommend this video: This show has so much great Japanese dialogue from beginning to end. The phrases discussed are both useful and interesting. A totally enjoyable show to watch. Highly recommended!
