Why I recommend this video: I love Emily's sense of humor, and this is a classic. A great twist on the all-too-boring typical Japanese survival phrases. Let's hear some more phrases we can't live without!
Why I recommend this video: Some nice examples of appropriate politeness. Great quiz at the end. The "duet" at the beginning is pretty poor (and then we have to watch more at the end), but overall a good show.
Why I recommend this video: A typical George and Keiko show- funny and informative. Watching Keiko crack up as George ripped apart the nakunakunai card was a highlight.
Why I recommend this video: I loved watching George and Keiko play janken. Plus lots of new words. But I'm still searching for a pun or old man joke that's funny...
Why I recommend this video: One of the more informative shows- learned lots of new words in this one. But George- that T-shirt is looking kinda tight around the belly...
Why I recommend this video: Good show- nice to see Will and Soupy. Funny dialogue. Who knows how they came up with these "SU" words to discuss, but I enjoyed it.
Why I recommend this video: The Maria Gadget conversation and video make this one worthwhile. Fun to see George dressed up like an old lady. "How long ago was that?" was funny the first 5 times, but by the 50th time, it started getting old.
Why I recommend this video: One of my favorites- the tricks aren't great, but they are funny. By the way, "excuse me -masen" isn't gaijin humor- that's not funny for anybody. But then again, it was so stupid, I laughed...
Why I recommend this video: The whole family got a kick out of this one. (Particularly my anime dork kids...) Not a lot of Japanese learning, but fun nonetheless.
